Award for the most innovative products and best companies in the professional cosmetics industry
ETTLINGEN, 31 OCTOBER 2023 – On October 27, 2023, the exclusive Andaz Hotel in Munich was the venue for one of the most important events in the professional beauty industry – the BEAUTY FORUM Stars Award 2023. The top products and the best companies were honored in a total of 17 categories, including the three brand new categories Medical Beauty, Technical Devices and Start-ups.
For the first time, the awards ceremony took place the day before the BEAUTY FORUM MÜNCHEN cosmetics trade fair. Managing Director Roberto Valente: “True to our motto ‘We believe in the power of beauty’, this year’s BEAUTY FORUM Stars Award also stood for innovation, creativity and passion, because these are the driving forces behind outstanding products and companies. This year, we decided to present the BEAUTY FORUM Stars Award the day before our BEAUTY FORUM MÜNCHEN. This allowed the winners to present their prizes during the trade fair.”
This year, 68 products were submitted by 47 participating companies. There were 26 nominations in the company categories. The professional beauty industry determined this year’s winners through extensive online voting with a total of more than 20,000 votes. In 2023, the focus was once again on the most innovative products in the Cosmetics, Nail, Foot and Specials categories as well as the best companies. Long-standing classics were considered in the “Bestseller” category. Presenter Max Fischer led the audience through the 12 exciting product categories and 5 company categories, accompanied by an impressive live musical performance by Acoustic Soul.

A particularly moving moment of the evening was the presentation of the “Prix d’Honneur de la Beauté” to Hellmut Ruck, the former Managing Director of HELLMUT RUCK GmbH. He received a standing ovation from the guests in attendance for his impressive life’s work and tireless commitment to the industry.
“I am very happy about this award. For me, it sums up everything we have achieved to date as a family business,” says Hellmut Ruck. “I am particularly grateful to my family and my six children. The generational change has been successful, my view of the future is full of confidence and supported by my faith in God. It has always been important to me to reach people’s hearts – I hope that I have succeeded,” says Hellmut Ruck.
