The Health and Beauty Group is setting the course for a successful future: BolognaFiere Cosmoprof (Milan), one of the world’s largest organizers of trade fairs for the cosmetics industry, is taking over the majority of the capital and providing the financing for further expansion!
With the international trade fairs Cosmoprof in Bologna, Las Vegas (in joint venture with the Professional Beauty Association) and Hong Kong (in joint venture with UBM), Cosmoprof is well positioned globally. The participation in Health and Beauty Holding ensures the vertical integration in attractive European markets and the access to cosmetics professionals at the BEAUTY FORUM fairs, and with the BUNTE Beauty Days it is even possible to address the beauty-interested consumer. A great sign of confidence and a strategically important building block for a future-oriented development of the Health and Beauty group of companies!
As part of the Cosmoprof Group, COSSMA will be strongly internationalized as the main organ of the global trade fairs and our regional and national trade fairs will be able to expand further with the backing of Cosmoprof. We expect to be able to substantially increase the foreign participation of exhibitors and visitors at the BEAUTY FORUM fairs in Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia and France, and to set completely new accents in the development of new markets for our exhibitors. A special role is played here by the expansion of the match-making business and our recognized trade magazine series BEAUTY FORUM and our online portals in now ten European countries!
For the time being, everything will remain the same in the organizational and management structure of the Health and Beauty Group: Jürgen Volpp and Georg von Griesheim will remain managing directors and steer the fortunes of the company, which is based in Ettlingen near Karlsruhe.
